QuestionDo you need a subscription for this product in order to use it or be able to still monitor the pics and video

QuestionIs there any other base needed? I have someone sneak it into my jacuzzi I want to mount this camera and have it rechargeable by the solar charger on it. Is there a base unit needed to work properly? Well it alert my phone right away?
