Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same situation and ordered only the "brain" from Swann. Huge mistake. It wasn't compatible with my cameras and didn't work. Returns are NOT something Swann cooperates with, even though they do NOT tell you which cameras go with which recording devices. The lengthy process finally finished in my favor and I bought the kit (recorder + cameras) from Best Buy and plugged in the new cameras and put in the new recorder, feeling safe that if I had any more complications BB would take back the expensive system without quibble in less the 2 months I suffered with the Swann company directly. If you buy the kit from BB you don't need anything else.
