“Does this system require in home wifi?”

• No it does not. However if you need to see the security cameras live over internet, it needs LAN connection with internet access. Normal if you have that, you will have a Wifi also but Wifi is not needed.

• You can plug the Ethernet cable from your service provider into the back of the DVR. This is so you can view your home/office from your cell phone from anywhere.

• No wifi is not required because everything is hard wired from the cameras directly to the DVR and router themselves However, if you want to view the cameras from a display that is not directly connected to your DVR or the router you will need a mobile phone and the app or wifi for the computer app.
