• Don’t know about that but I do know that you will be extremely disappointed if you are planning on using the app to monitor the cameras, Don’t recommend this system at all. Remote access doesn’t work, cannot zoom. Plus other annoying issues

• I just bought this system and it was very easy to setup the mobile app. You scan the QR code from the screen when setting up the dvr and then enter the login creds from your dvr and it shows the live feeds and you can manage from mobile device.

• I have the same system, 5mp means that you can zoom in to see any movement.
