“Do I need a separate monitor or tv to use just for surveillance ? Do you guys keep yours on all the time, or just check once in a while? I am having door knocks at 5 am, and some carport theft.”

I purchased a separate monitor for mine so I could be viewing at all times. It is possible to hook it up to your current monitor or tv , but then you will have to switch to it to see. I keep mine on all the time but only check it if I want to see what happened.
