- Answer Hi 1249. They are actually very similar cameras and contain identical lens angles and other features. On this particular range it is simply an aesthetic difference. We find that some customers prefer the Dome shape as it looks a bit more discreet, whilst others prefer the Bullet shape as it's more obvious and may catch the eye of potential criminals. For example you may wish to install the bullet cameras at the front of your house to get attention, and the domes could be mounted inside or at the back of the house where you prefer them to blend in more. -SD, Swann Team

- Answer Hi Prash. From the NVR's menu you can set a schedule according to Day and Time for when you want each individual camera to record or not. If you are home on a regular pattern (for example 9 to 5 each work day), then this could work well for you. Unfortunately there isn't a way to disarm one camera only from the app, it would need to be scheduled through the NVR itself. Hope that helps. -SD, Swann team.

If there is sufficient ambient lighting, the camera will be able to produce a color night vision image without the lights being turned on. If you would like to connect the recorder to your wifi network, you will need to add our Swann Wireless Adapter. This recorder can connect to a monitor using a VGA or HDMI cable. Swann does not charge any fees for remote access and control using our Swann Security application. The IR lights can not be turned off to use on a window seal. The connection when remotely accessing and controlling the device is private. QuestionHey Swann question if the signal throw is longer than 330ft. for this specific NVR system, is there an option you guys have for an NVR system that has a longer throw with 8 wired dome camers?

QuestionWhy am I unable to setup Face Detection and Pedestrian Detection? I bought this product having read that it has Face Detection. Manual says PID, LCD and SOD needs to be turned off in order for this to work which I have done and rebooted but still no luck.
