Hi Mark. Thank you for your question. Yes, it can detect a rabbit at night, as long as the movement occurs within the camera’s detection range. The night vision range (up to 65ft / 20m) or spotlight/floodlight range (up to 100ft / 30m) refers to how far the camera can see in low light. However, actual detection depends on the PIR motion sensor range (up to 26ft / 8m) and how the camera is positioned. Small animals like rabbits are more likely to be detected when they move across the camera’s field of view within that PIR range. Detection may be less reliable if the animal is moving directly toward the camera or is too far away. I hope that information helps. Mary - Swann Team
