• A:Answer Hi Kealii. I think you may have misunderstood this feature. This camera only has the option to record short clips whenever it detects motion, it cannot record continuously 24/7. All of the recordings you see in the playback screen for the last 24hrs are stored in the cloud. In addition the camera has an SD Card included and you can view clips further back which are saved on that card by tapping on the SD Card icon within the Playback screen. - SD, Swann Team.

No, it is not possible to connect this to a DVR/NVR, however the included 32GB Micro SD Card will store a very large number of clips before writing over the oldest clips with the latest ones once it is full. You can also replace the card with a larger one (up to 128GB) if you wish to. If you also happen to own a Swann DVR or NVR then you can view it alongside this floodlight camera in the same Swann Security App account. -SD, Swann Team.

Q: QuestionI am a property manager. I want to mount this high up out of reach on the corner of my building. I need to know how far out it will react with lights and siren when people are on the property. In other words, what is its range in distance and view.

• A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry, Marlene. The PIR motion sensor works best up to 26ft (8 m). This is the distance it can reliably detect movement. While the spotlight can illuminate up to 100ft (30 m). So, when someone enters the detection zone within 26 ft, the system will trigger the lights and siren, and the spotlight can reach up to 100ft to light the area. Hope this helps. Mary - Swann Team

• A:Answer Hi Gprat. The PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor on this camera is designed to detect the infrared energy from warm moving objects at or around human body temperature. The objects that it normally triggers off are people, larger pets and vehicles, however other surfaces such as concrete can also reflect energy if the sun hits it at an angle. It is possible that the sun could bounce off the pool surface and trigger the camera but you could use the motion grid feature in the app to ignore the pool if you wished to. The siren can definitely be disabled if you don't want it going off. -SD, Swann Team

Q: QuestionCan the lights be replaced when they burn out?

• A:Answer no. This is LED. need to replace unit. LED can run over 50000 hours. and this is only for motion detect. you can set the length of time low, That will last longer. I have a similar LED light that's running over 3 years plus.
