I ran across that same issue in California. I had to order mine online because none of the Best Buy stores within 50 miles of me had any in stock.

But, I would not rush around town and spend a lot of time searching for this unless you are sure you want it to begin with. It is a really large, expensive steamer. The price has been reduced since it was first introduced and that is why I purchased it. I ordered it online and had it shipped by UPS which is a mistake according to a lot of reviewers. My machine, like a lot of others received shipping damage to the frame. It sounds like you would like to purchase cash and carry, though. IMHO this is not a popular item and the reviews prove it. So, the inventory issue may arise from lack of interest. My machine came packed in a huge box with a piece of wood planking across the front, an attempt to stave off damage in transit that was a known issue. It still received damage. A far as functionality...I have used about 3 cases of pods so far, so that's about 70 or more swashes. My hubby's SS button down Tommy Bahama-type shirts that he wears once and throws across the foot of the bed get Swashed and returned to the closet. 9.5/10. My grandson's size Adult X-Small school uniform shirts get swashed after they have been machine washed and dried to about 50% dry. They come out fresh and tight. 9.9/10. My couch throw blankets get Swashed about once per week. I fold them over the hanger and swash one side then refold and re-swash. Some effort is involved in folding and re-doing blankets but they don't have to be clipped so I'd grade this at 9/10 because they come out very fresh as opposed to spraying Febreze. The machine is big and expensive and the pods are expensive, it is a niche item. But, I continue to use mine for what I bought it for and I'm not altogether unhappy with it. The hangers are adjustable in the shoulders and help with mens XL. The clips are on pull out elastic cords and are a pain in the neck to clip evenly. I am short and have to sit on the floor or kneel down to clip all the clips and it's time consuming. That's my biggest complaint I think with the machine other than the size of it. I have a steam press in my laundry room and I use it less than before I got the swash.
