I hate ironing and was hoping this would be an adequate replacement, which it is not but there are definitely pros to owning this. Pro: shirts feel a bit starched (w/o use of starch), deodorizes clothing, best buy delivery (free and was here in less than 24 hours), financing (20% off and interest free) Con: pods are expensive/not easily accessible for purchase*, unit is much larger than I expected it to be (verify you have room and will be able to access shirts on both sides) Between the pod availability/costs and the result after using the system, I probably wouldn't recommend this to the average consumer. By the time you get the ONE item in, weights on, and run the system, you could've just ironed. I'll keep it because it's too bulky/heavy to return and I can find use. I generally use the pods for deodorizing (jeans, pants, suit coats, jackets, etc) and then use a *straw with warm tap water to refill the pod for use on shirts out of the washing machine.

    Exceeded my expectations

When they first announced the Swash system I was intreagued. I wear suits to work 5-6 days a week so this is something that caught my eye. I finally broke down and bought it and I could not be happier. I was expecting to still have to use my steamer for the finishing touches but this has not been the case. I use it every day for my suit (jacket and pants) and dress shirt. The main thing is to clip all the clothes in properly and you will not be disappointed. It actually puts a crease in my dress pants as if I got them dry cleaned. The smell of all 3 scents are nice and I don't really have a favorite. It included an assortment of 12 so you can pick which one is your favorite for the refils. I've used the swash for pretty much every type of clothing (jeans, t shirts, dress shirts, and my wife uses it for dresses) so I feel like it's well worth the price. One issue that I have had is there are times when it will not power on. I don't know it is but from time to time I have this issue.

The concept is great, and the execution isn't too shabby. However, the packaging quality leaves something to be desired, and the unit itself seems cheaply made. Clothes smell great and wrinkles do go away. Could use some presentation enhancements - it looks fine in the garage but would look cheap next to furniture.

It works great but u gotta make sure all the clips are on the clothe and the pants are a hassle to place on it like the book recommends but besides that is a good steamer and odor remover I never Use iron so I rather use this is quick and easy to get clothes ready to wear fast. Oh and the pods are only use once so one shirt one pod. I think they should make it at least for 2 uses.

Make room in your home for a SWASH

I decided to buy a SWASH for my wife for Christmas. I looked at it online but I had to go into a Best Buy store to see how big it really is. We have a small apartment and we have a small car so I knew that I'd have to figure out a way to fit the SWASH into our lives. I rented a small truck and picked up to swash. It was a little too big to Christmas wrap, but my wife was surprised and happy when she got home and saw it. We rearranged our bedroom so the swash could be near the closet. We've used the swash almost 10 times now. I really love the job it does on my suit jackets! She loves it for her blouses. Everything comes out fresh and wrinkle free but don't expect the swash to take out those difficult collar stains, those can be a little much for the swash.

Very expensive item but it does work well at steaming and smoothing out wrinkles. Not sure how well it will work for stains. I tried it on two of my husband's shirts and after I got the hang of the clips, it worked very well and the shirts looked pressed.

I like this dry clean machine a lot. The only concern is that this model I received has two holes in the bottom, I think the company put the silver tape tries to cover it up. I understand the machine is huge and heavy. Because I ordered it on line and shipped to my home, I still wish the company has shipped me a non defect machine. So be careful, please check the bottom of your machine just make sure everything is all right!

We bought the Swash in October 2014 when it was $499 and don't regret buying it because it made my wife happy. She uses it for all her delicate clothing that she doesn't worry much about damage like the washer. This Swash cleans, steams and freshen all her delicate clothes. On top that when it is running the pods that it uses fills the room like air freshener that's a plus. This the best thing then taking to dry cleaners.

i was kind of on the fence on spending so much on this one item but i went to Best Buy and i saw on displayed, i had about $150 in rewards points anyways so i decided to go ahead and buy it, it was a great buy! my wife is active duty Army and she works as a nurse instructor at a hospital where she is required to wear her formal uniform every Friday instead of the combat uniform and having to dry-clean that uniform weekly gets expensive and it takes time to drive to the cleaners and then again for pick up, well this thing works great on refreshing the uniform and getting rid of most wrinkles, it doesn't crease but that's easy enough to do, the formal military class A jacket is kind of awkward due to the sleeves not being made to fold the way most shirts/ jackets fold but still it isn't a big deal, i would recommend it to anybody looking to refresh their clothes for less frequent dry cleaning and to almost eliminate ironing, however it will not eliminate all ironing if you need to look sharp and it doesn't really remove stains, for those you would have to go to the cleaners but the steam does remove smells and wrinkles.

East to use, fast and convenient. It is a nice tool to have if you dry clean a lot. I use it for ties, shirts, dresses pants and jackets. In 10 minutes your item is clean and ready to wear. It does not press it so don't expect to see creases, but it will smell and look freshly cleaned. I bought it for my husband who wears suits a lot, and he loves it too. Super user friendly, no installation required. Luckily we had room In our laundry room to set it up because it is a tall device.

My friends recommend this swash machine to me, I bought and use it find out it is really good and easy use for me and my family. Only 10 or 15 mins, I can have a good smell and clean clothes. The only concern is the price of machine is a little bit high and one pod only use for one circle. I think the best way is lower the price of machine, since people like it they will continue buying the pods.

Received for the holidays and it has been one of the best gifts ever! Use on dress shirts and takes out 95% of wrinkles. Also smells clean after use. Multiple pod scents to choose from. Will be saving me $$ from the dry cleaner!!!

It does what it says... I can steam and freshen my business suits without having to take them to the dry cleaners. It gets rid of most of the wrinkles except the really creased ones. Worth the money! Now I only take my suits to the dry cleaners if and when they have a stain. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is the price. It takes a while before it lays for itself.

We previously owned a Whirlpool Fabric Freshener which was discontinued a few years ago. We were very excited to see them team up with Tide to create this new model. Our original shipped unit was delivered in a damaged box and Best Buy had a new one shipped a couple of days later and they picked up the other unit. Make sure you have someone move it for you if you can. It's 80 lbs. We use this at least 2 or 3 times a day usually with 2 items in it. Everything comes out smelling fresh and it does as good of a job as ironing in my opinion. It save a great deal of money on dry cleaning and you avoid having to make extra trips. Here's a little secret: We often put distilled water in the pods with a syringe instead of buying the pods at .50 cents each.

Stylish design. Super easy to operate. Don't be afraid to use the anchor clips. They definitely impact improved results when you do. Took me a minute to figure it out but good to go now.

Overall I am happy with the product. In my line of work often I wear dress shirts for half the day and it seemed like a waste to send them to the cleaners constantly. This product allows me to wear a shirt a couple times before sending to the cleaners and is saving me money on my cleaning bill. My only complaints are that the pods are not available locally anywhere and it is a little bit of a science on how to properly apply the clips to get the smooth wrinkle free result.

Forget dry cleaning, this machine produces the same result, not to mention it smells better after it has been run through. The swash pods are also a lot less expensive than paying to dry clean a piece of clothing. Will never need to dry clean again with this product. Highly recommended.

Let me first say, no this doesn't replace regular laundry, and it doesn't replace dry cleaning. But what it does do is great. The concept of refreshing clothing that hasn't been worn long, or a quick refresh of that suite between dry cleanings is really great. I've even found that the biggest user is my teenage daughter as she uses swash to make sure he clothes have that freshly laundered look each day before school. It's quiet, sized to fit easily into a laundry room or even bedroom.
