• Yes, Nintendo is also releasing Joy-Con 2 Wheels separately at launch for Mario Kart. It will cost $20 for a set of two.

• Yes, on release Nintendo will be releasing an update that disables all functionality on the original switch other than gyros and it will be used as the steering wheel accessory.
