• A:Answer Mine is plenty loud to hear but sound quality is awful. Try an external speaker or ear buds nd see if that makes a difference.

• A:Answer 720 which normally is fine for a screen of this size. But this has a TFT screen which was horrible for all but the brightest scenes. You also have a VERY limited viewing angle. I had to return this due to problems. About 20 minutes into each movie the picture became unwatchable with wavy lines. This is also disturbingly lightweight and felt like cheap plastic. I’m buying an external USB Blu-Ray player for my laptop instead.
