• Hooks up via red white and yellow cords, has directions, and I’m not sure about the cards you are talking about. Cords? Yes!

• Hi, It hooks up to the television. The hook up cables are included with the dvd player. You would connect the cable to the back of the dvd player, and the other end of the cable to your television. Very easy.

• you will get a direction book on hooking it up and setting up the system to your television. it was easy with the hmti cable.
