How do you update a contact? null

To edit contact information, first you tap your contact's photo. This will take you to a screen which will enable you to send an email, text, call, etc...Then you tap your contact's photo once again and it will bring you to the screen that allows you to edit. Tap on the pen/pencil symbol and thus go in and edit your information. When your editing is complete, tap save, to secure your information.

You can update a contact in the contact menu.
