You can go into the settings and tell it to use your home Internet whenever possible. You can also tell it only do certain things, like download software updates, when it is on your Internet connection. I always have it plugged in with a cable so I'm not certain about the actual wireless wi-fi connection. I think it can connect wirelessly. I did a check check on the Internet and it seems have wi-fi, but I'm not absolutely sure. I only use a few megabytes a month of cellphone data. The rest of the data comes through my home or work network without using my cellphone's network.
