This phone replaced a frozen Galaxy S3. I was planning on buying a Galaxy S-5, but have been extremely happy with the Grand Prime! If you load it up with a lot of apps, I think it will slow tremendously however! So, for a S-3 replacement, thumbs UP Something higher like a S-5, your own risk
