- Answer Yes ... just move the SIM card from your old phone to the new one. NOTE: this phone uses the mini-sim card, so, if your older sim card is one of the larger ones that cannot be re-sized, which most can be, you may be out of luck and have to go to T-mobil to have the exchange done.

- Answer As long as it is a t-mobile sim you can transfer it to this phone. If not this phone has a sim and you can transfer your number to the new sim included in the package with the phone.

QuestionDo i have to buy minutes?i currently have a plan with T-mobile, no contract just a plan. Can i buy a prepaid no contract phone and link it to my current plan or do i have to pre buy minutes? I was told that I could but after reading more I am not so sure I can.

- Answer yes and no. yes you can connect it to your existing line but you will have to have the phone connected on the prepaid plan for 6 months in order for you to do that.

- Answer No. I actually asked about this. The alternative is WiFi calling. I will be traveling to Europe soon and have installed an app that supports WiFi calling and texting. I am hoping to find some free WiFi hot spots.
