• Yes\, i broke my t-mobile htc one, and used this phone as a backup. Just swapped the sim card into this phone.

• This phone is locked for use on T-Mobile. I use a SIM card from my previous phone and I was ready to use. Hope this helps.

• The phone uses a micro sim, if you are using a nano sim like what the I phones use and some newer devices, you'll need an adapter. Fortunately the included sim can be used as an adapter.
