bought this when my zte zmax broke to make it through the year, its a very good phone. Would have given five stars if the base memory was higher, other then that it works just as well as the zmax for a third of the price. Very good phone.

It was about time I came up in the world to a smartphone after years of what I called my "dumbphone". When I went to Best Buy to look for a new phone this Obsidian looked promising and was a great price. I'm still getting used to it but so far it's been a fairly easy transition.

It functions as well as can be expected for a prepaid phone. Definitely kinda slow in opening apps, and web pages. Not to mention even with an SD card the storage isn't great.

Although the phone is painfully low on memory actually available to the user (4GB), it is a good bargain smart phone, nonetheless.The features are adequate for surfing the web, checking email, staying up to date on social media, listening to music, and watching videos. The memory deficit can be somewhat minimized by designating a 32 GB micro SD card as the default download storage device, and then downloading to the SD card as many open source apps as possible directly from the F-Droid and XDA Developers Apps, reserving the available 4 GB for those Play Store apps for which no satisfactory open source alternative is available.

The ZTE Obsidian 4G LTE model z820 was advertised on the Best Buy web site. I checked it out on line. It was a good deal so I purchased 2. I enjoy this product and I highly recommend it! It would be perfect if the battery lasted longer. All things considered it's a really good deal.

If you set your sights realistically when purchasing this $59.99 prepaid smartphone from T-Mobile, you will actually be quite surprised at how well it works. Good sound quality and fast 4G internet.

This is a great phone for someone that needs an entry level smart phone for pay as you go. It has nice features and is easy to use. Very happy with the price, too.

For the price it's a great phone. If you're seeking a phone with lots of features, this isn't for you. Screen is small and the phone itself is very basic. Might be best for a kid as a starter phone. Great price though.
