• Hi Jay, Tuners determine how many shows your Tablo can watch/record at once. For instance, if you have 2-tuner Tablo your family can: - Watch two different shows on two different screens, at the same time. - Watch a show while recording another one. - Record two shows at the same time. If you go with a 4-tuner, you'll be able to watch/record more things at once. Hope this helps.
