“Can the WIFI connection be used to record a show directly onto a home-network computer's hard drive? Or do all recording have to be done using the USB port on the Tablo?”

• To save to a hard drive, it must be connected to the Tablo's USB port. The Tablo re-formats the hard drive in order make it ready to save recordings.

• Good question. If it went straight to your computer you may be using a lot of extra electricity. I think it can be done but not sure how to connect it all up.
