• What is "a Night Owl"? Tablo uses input from a TV antenna not a camera.

• I think you may be thinking it is far more advanced than it is. This is merely a down and dirty HD antenatal and basic receiver to add on. You security equipment would all be stand alone through its own recorder, monitors and some sort of NAS or computer. Mine is connected to my computer network and then multi media QNAP NAS TS-251+
