The Tablo should work fine within your home, as long as you have a good strong signal from your antenna. The channel guide would likely download successfully at the speed you have. The Roku is receiving the video from the Tablo thru your wireless router and is not dependent on your internet provider speed, but the speed of your router. The Tablo is receiving video from your antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The channel guide gets updated 1 time per 24 hours. It updates very early in the morning when you are sleeping. Your DSL speed will be fine to update the channel guide. Viewing Tablo is limited to your WiFi speed or Ethernet depending on how you connected your Tablo to your router. In most cases it should be very easy for your wifi router to send video to your roku.

I've got a used 320GB hard drive attached. Bottom line: it's working very well to view live and recorded content. So, as others confirmed, the Tablo really only needs the internet to update the channel guide every 24 hours. My home devices can all view live and recorded Tablo TV just fine over WiFi. Of course, I'm sure that my slow internet would prevent remote viewing, but I'm just using it to view content in my living room and bedroom, so I'm very pleased.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt you will be satisfied. The Tablo communicates constantly with Tablo company servers. There's a lag with a fast internet connection.
