Works fine for streaming live OTA program with a hard drive, too many delays when I tried it with an inexpensive flash drive. Tablo specifically warns won't reliably work with a flash drive but I thought I'd give it a try!

And it changes channels slower than snail speed so be prepared to be annoyed every time you change channels If you can live with those 2 issues then yes it will allow you to put the tablo app on any tv and you can set it up wifi. Sorry 1 last thing if you are using a mesh type wifi system like nest it will cause traffic problems with connection. Tablo customer service told me with a mesh router you need to hardwire for best results. .
