This would work. HOWEVER, you should be aware that the Tablo places a high data burden on your wifi network, requiring strong wifi signals. The Tablo next to your router is good, but then you are still very much dependent on the wifi signal from the router to your streaming device near (or inside) the TV. Good Luck.
