The Tablo Dual Lite has 2 tuners. You can record 2 shows at a time, or watch one while recording another show. You can also watch something that is currently recording. It works the same as my old satellite dvr.

Please try again later.yes and no, All depends of the resolution that you will use to record, if the resolution is high def. you will not be able to watch another show at the same time. Since Table Duo has 2 tuners, the max of show that you can watch/record are 2 (there is another Tablo that has 4 tuners).
