• I believe you can transfer your existing subscription to the new device. The only limitation is that you could only have that subscription active on one device at a time. If you wanted the benefits on both devices simultaneously you'd need to purchase a separate subscription but, if you are planing to replace the 2016 unit with the new one then you should be fine.
