• Peep hole is for camera. The Apple is just an advertisement.

• The peephole in the upper left corner is where your camera is (so it doesn't get covered). The Apple logo in the middle is actually the logo on your iPad as seen through the cutout on the case.

• The peephole in the upper left corner is for the camera lens. I don’t think the big hole does anything except show the Apple logo on the iPad itself. Hope this helps.

• peephole: Are you referring to camera window? I don't think the Logo in the middle serves any purpose, except it is around that which the case rotates.
