Mine doesn't seem to work. I just received it yesterday, plugged it in and the fans aren't running. I don't see an on and off switch. null

If you plugged it into your laptop's USB port and the fans don't immediately start blowing, there's something wrong. Make sure the USB port isn't dead. That sometimes happens.

The one I have has a roller switch on the right side at the front which turns it on and controls the speed.

I have the same fan. You are right, there is no ON/OFF SWITCH. The FAN goes on WHEN THE COMPUTER goes on and goes OFF when the COMPUTER GOES OFF. Its very efficient. I think when U try it this way, you will be pleased.
