This usb-c hub is intended to connect a laptop computer that has a usb-c port with devices that use USB-A cords. For example, my new computer only has usb-c ports, so if I want to connect my regular usb devices, I have to either use an adapter, or a hub like this. This hub allows me to connect up to 4 regular usb devices while the hub plugs into the usb-c port on my computer. It works with computers running Windows, Mac, or Chromebook operating systems, if they have a usb-c port. If you are planning on using this to connect a computer with a usb-c port to a fire tv cube (assuming it has a usb cord and that the fire tv cube is compatible with your computer), then it should work. If you are wanting to do something else with it, then probably not.
