If you're asking because you own an iPad air 2 and not a 9.7" iPad pro you should get the THZ588US. That's my opinion & that's what i did. Upon visually comparing the 588 & 621 cases in store (around early July) I really couldn't see a difference but, If you own an iPad pro, the 588 may not fit it. I did not bother to compare specs so battery or other internal components improvements may exist but I honestly don't know about that. But price difference did not seem worth it. When i went back to the store recently the 588 had been cleared out & is no longer available in store. Best Buy, as of this writing, has the 588 @ less than 60 bucks online. My guess is that Targus did this purely for marketing purposes so they could make it seem like a new product. I'm almost certain i saw stickers added to the 588 packaging (when it was available) saying it fits the iPad pro 9.7 but maybe I'm remembering wrong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the Apple Keyboard listed below and love it. Don't have to charge it or plug it in, it just connects to the 3 sensors on the side. I did not look at any other keyboards as I researched what went best with the iPad pro. Apple - Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro - Gray Model: MM2L2AM/A SKU: 5041505
