“What is the difference between this keyboard (THZ588US) the THZ621US? Both are sold on Amazon. Aside from the THZ621US saying it also fits the 9.7 inch iPad Pro is there any additional feature? It is twice as much as the THZ588US.”

If you're asking because you own an iPad air 2 and not a 9.7" iPad pro you should get the THZ588US. That's my opinion & that's what i did. Upon visually comparing the 588 & 621 cases in store (around early July) I really couldn't see a difference but, If you own an iPad pro, the 588 may not fit it. I did not bother to compare specs so battery or other internal components improvements may exist but I honestly don't know about that. But price difference did not seem worth it. When i went back to the store recently the 588 had been cleared out & is no longer available in store. Best Buy, as of this writing, has the 588 @ less than 60 bucks online. My guess is that Targus did this purely for marketing purposes so they could make it seem like a new product. I'm almost certain i saw stickers added to the 588 packaging (when it was available) saying it fits the iPad pro 9.7 but maybe I'm remembering wrong.
