This is what allows the IPad to turn vertical or horizontal in the case. Great feature !!

The hole allows the device to rotate and still be used with the stand slots. It also shows off the Apple.

The whole allows the Apple logo to be visible. It's also where the mechanism to swivel the iPad is housed.

One hole is to see the apple logo on the back of the iPad and other is for the camera.

The hole at the top is for the camera so you can take photos while the case is still on. The large hole in the middle is to show the apple logo on the back of the iPad.
