Decent
This case is a bit bulky everywhere but around the camera. I feel like it’s going to break there and definitely won’t protect if it drops on that corner. Otherwise the tablet feels pretty protected. It feels good carrying and the ability to rotate the iPad is useful.

The King of Cases for the King Of Tablets!
Hands down for me the best case for iPad of any model. It feels premium, is durable, handsome and has protected my current iPad Pro 12.9" and a few others from multiple falls, bumps and scrapes. This is the 3rd Targus VersaVu case I have used on a personal iPad, having had the same one on my iPad Pro 11" and also on my iPad Air. I use it to stand my iPad in landscape orientation normally, and the inner part of the case that actually holds the iPad itself fits neatly and snugly into the grooves on the outer panel on the opposite side, never had an issue with it slipping out. The part of the case that hugs the iPad also swivels around so you can use it in portrait orientation as well. I will continue to use this line of iPad cases whenver I move to a new device. The only issue I have ever had with this case is that the silvery stickers that spell the 'Targus' name on the magnetic flap have begun to come off one by one. Not sure of the cause, it never happened to any of the others I have owned, the case almost never sees water, and is never left in my car in the heat. Its not a big deal and doesn't matter that much to me but at this price, you'd think they could use paint or stitching to create that text or even use embossing and skip the fuss with color altogether. Overall an excellent choice, I highly recommend it, and will purchase another when the need arises.

This color is the bomb! NOT burgundy more plum
I love this case, it affords what appears to be superior protection and allows for portrait and landscape viewing. It also has space that is protected to hold the pen *both magnetic and with a separate fold over tab- see pics) and charges it without issue. IF you put a silicone pen protector then it will not charge with the case, probably too much layering. And oh the color! To me it is not Burgundy because it has a bit more pinkish purple without being too fussy or girly looking - it's mature yet feminine think of a rich lipstick like dark mauve....maybe. I got it on salewhich was an absolute bargain!
