“Is it possible to use the Apple keyboard with it on, or must it be removed?”

• Short answer: yes. I used an apple keyboard (that comes with iMac) with an iPad Air 2, and I had horrible connectivity issues. I have had this new iPad for a few weeks now, and have had zero Bluetooth connectivity issues.
