“Does it fits ipad mini2? I was in the best buy shop and really liked this case for my new ipad mini2. But when I asked the rep there in the shop for the same, he said it will fit only ipad mini4! However, I see here that it fits ipad mini2/3/4? Has anyone used it for ipad mini2, and does it fits perfectly?”

Go back into Best Buy this time with your I-pad Mini, that is what I did...as the printing on the packages are not always correct as I found out. So go back again. FYI...Always bring what you have to the store, that way you can confirm in person, as that will save you time and peace of mind.
