“I have the TCL 10L and 10 Pro, however when pairing with my 2015 Impala, the phone and contacts work, but can't play media, Amazon music, YouTube etc. Deleted connection and re-paired with the same results. Any ideas?”

Are you driving when trying to use it? try it when you first get in before starting vehicle.

The Bluetooth connectivity on your system might only have Hands-Free profile and Headset profile, but not A2DP (Audio Distribution Profile). You can check the BT device details on your phone. Go to the Settings > Bluetooth & device connection > Bluetooth > Take a look at the paired device list. Check the settings of the device that your phone detected from your car. It will list the type of task(s) that the BT device is capable of. If you see Media audio, make sure that it is set to ON. If you don't see Media audio, then the phone is not detecting the audio distribution profile from your car's BT device. Hope this helps.
