“Is the remote Infrared or RF? basically, would this work with a logitech harmony remote? We have multiple TV in our building and need it to work with our single remote.”

Once you set up the TV the remote is RF. you don't have to point the remote at the TV.

Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control select functions on the TV. You can visit https://support.tcl.com/us-remote-codes for more information.
