“What aspects are available so that picture fills the whole screen​? Black bars on side or bottom are a waste of space.”

• There are 5 picture size options, Auto/Direct will show the picture as it's meant to be from the source, Normal is "slight zoom to hide noisy edges", Stretch "stretches image sideways to fill the screen, and lastly Zoom which zooms video without stretching.
