Okay I can answer this! Definitely spend extra 50 for class 5. Luckily I saw the difference and remembered from another store as they did not have on display. The screen has something that makes so much better definition, It was next to samsang and it was just as good. I really had trouble finding the 5 they sell out quick, The guy found one in back. This was a year ago. They probably have new model.

Each series builds on each other. Both of these series are 4K UHD, have HDR support, and have a Roku operating system. The 5-Series additionally has Dolby Vision Support, wide color gamut, auto-game mode, an edge-to-edge glass display, etc. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
