• NO. Best Buy has a $100 lower price for the TV at all times due to eliminating this feature and internal software additionally it allows them to have an exclusive model number so they never have to worry about price matching. vacuum cleaner makers also do this

• Not sure. Depends on your audio video setup. I use Spectrum cable & internet & volume is controlled by the Spectrum remote. TV remote is mostly to connect to the ROKU channels ( Netflix,HULA, SLING, HBO NOW,etc). Each requires a paid subscription to a cable provider, so I think that will be your volume control remote.
