QuestionWhat is the exact distance between the two legs on the TV? I need to know to make sure that it fits on my TV stand. Also, is the distance the same on the 43s517 model?

QuestionI've been holding back upgrading our TV b/c I *DON'T* want smart features. Can this TV be set to start on a specific input with NO SMART FEATURES (no roku, no menus) *without* having to manually switch each time?

- Answer You can program this TV to power on to a specific input, and you would not need to navigate the smart features on this TV. Here are steps to accomplish this. Please go to the following: Settings>System>Power>Power On>choose which input you would like your TCL Roku TV to power on to. Also, here is a link with more information. QuestionMy internet speed is download 18 & upload 2.4 Mbps since I'm on a low internet budget due to a fixed income. This speed has been just fine using the internet, ROKU, Hulu & Netflix. Should I still buy this TCL 43S515 since it's recommending 25 speed Mbps?

- Answer To be honest, it's going to be very difficult to get a high quality 4K stream with that low if an internet speed, yet I may be wrong. This TV has probably one of the best pictures in this price range of TVs. Over Thanksgiving weekend I ended up buying a total of 4 TVs. The first two were Samsung's, returned them and the next one a Vizio, returned it. I finally purchased the TCL brand and I couldn't be more happier with the picture. For the money you can never do better in picture quality. I do however have a very fast internet. 70-80 megabytes a second download. My 4K streaming from Netflix it's great. I have not played a 4K movie on the TV but 4K streaming alone is fantastic.

- Answer Depends what you're connecting the TV to. It only comes with a power cord and a/v input cord. It does not come with any HDMI, Coaxial (TV antenna), Ethernet cable, optical cable, or USB cable. If you're connecting to any device that requires any of these, then you will need these cables.

- Answer Both series include a built in Roku operating system, 4K UHD, and HDR Support. QuestionCan this TV be used as a screen for editing DSLR photos from my laptop?

- Answer Absolutely! Although this TCL Roku TV is designed with the primary role of television in mind, it does come with 3 HDMI ports. Any of these ports can be used to connect the TV to external devices, such as a PC. For best results, make sure the HDMI port is set to 2.0. In order to do this go to Settings>TV Inputs>Select the HDMI your laptop is connected to>HMDI Mode>2.0. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

- Answer There is not a headphone connection on this remote. However, you can download the free Roku app on your smart phone or tablet to use voice search, voice control, and experience private listening. To enjoy private listening you simply click private listening in the app, and attach headphones to your smart phone or tablet. Or you can use the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the back of the TV to connect standard headphones/Bluetooth headphones with a transmitter. Hope this helps. Thank you, TCL Customer Support

- Answer The 515 is sold by Best Buy and has a "regular" non voice activated remote. The 517 has a voice activated remote.

QuestionWhen I turn off the tv /cable box with the remote and turn it back on the tv goes to a red screen with a small box showing cable channel live then I have to hit the OK button on the TCL remote to go to a full screen every time I turn it off.

QuestionWill this accept a 200x200 vesa universal PEDASTAL stand that holds 100 lbs? The bottom of the TV juts out in the back - can’t tell how far out/if it will interfere w/ the pedestal stand. Also can’t see where the 200x200 holes are. Can anyone clarify?

- Answer The TV has a Direct TV Now App. Connect your TV to your home internet download the DirectTV App and you are set. I don’t thing Direct TV now supports 4K however!!

QuestionHow many inches does bottom part of BACK side of TV stick out? Looks like a “ledge” sticking out at the base in back that may interfere with a universal PEDASTAL stand (not going to use wall mount or the supplied feet). Need depth of that “ledge“ please!

- Answer The ledge sticks out about an inch. The bottom of the tv is 2 3/4 total with ledge. Hope this helps.
