• I connected to my router wirelessly and it works great. I'm sure if you're close enough, you could run a cat5 cable directly to it, but the wireless has been working flawlessly for me so far!

• This TCL Roku TV has a standard Ethernet port, and would use a standard straight-through Ethernet cable. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
