“Why does the add say it is a 49" and the description say 40". Is this a 49 or 40 inch TV?”

• I had the same question when we purchased the TV. It is the 49. Why it has both sizes, I still don't. But it measures 49 diagonally, which is they way TVs are measured, it is a good sized TV, great picture and great apps. We bought it for our spare bedroom, but we will go I and watch it from time to time.
