• The remote itself does not have a button. However, you can use the Google voice assistant button on the remote to ask google to and unmute the TV. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

• Upon reading the directions.....you hold down the - (lower) portion of sound button three seconds and it mutes.

• Correct, no mute but you can lower the volume w/ the remote.

• it will mute you just have to use another type remote, mine works with a firestick remote
