HD can look better on UHD but largely depends on the scaling processor of the TV and the device you play it on. Playing a 1080P bluray on a UHD player and TV can benefit the picture quality greatly. If using a 1080P player on a UHD TV then this may not be as noticeable an upgrade, again depending on the processor. I would say there is improvement regardless. To answer your second question, you can use the same Roku accound to log in to your Roku TV. No need to create a second. You would be redundant to plug in your external Roku device to this tv.

This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi or Ethernet, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Additionally, you do not need to created a new Roku account to set up smart features on a new Roku device as you can have multiple devices connected to a single Roku account. Hope this helps!
