Manufacturers play all sorts of marketing word games when it comes to refresh rate. Quite frankly, I have not seen a specification for this TV for "native refresh rate," which is the only helpful number to know. The native refresh rates for most 4K sets are usually 60 Hz for cheaper sets, and 120 Hz for more expensive units. Any refresh rate higher than 120 Hz is achieved through some very clever software algorithms and cool hardware. The high refresh rates usually have marketing names like "Smooth Motion" or whatever. Purely guesswork on my part, but I think this TV has a 120 Hz native refresh rate. I hope this helps.
