“I've read all the questions and answers, nothing on this tv's basic sound system and volume control. OR do I have to buy a sound bar? Thank you”

• I do not recommend TCL any longer. Picture went out but sound still on. Tech. came in and put a whole new board in TV, 1 week later the TV went out again. TCL newer TV's sounds goes out when TV is paused and you have to reboot the entire TV to get it back on.
