Each series builds on each other. Both of these series are 4K UHD, have HDR10 support, and have a Roku operating system, etc. The 6-Series also has CCZ technology, Dolby Vision support, wide color gamut, auto-game mode, an edge-to-edge glass display, Quantum Dot Technology, etc. You can also visit www.tclusa.com/products/home-theater/6-series and scroll down to "Compare All Models" to see all models compared. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Technology upgrades. Reviewing rating sites I noticed 6 Series scored significantly higher on movie viewing over the 4 series. 6 Series has Local Dimming, 4 series does not which improves contrast. This matters when viewing dark scenes in a dark room. Std Dynamic Range (SDR) peek brightness noticeably better on Series 6. This is how bright your screen can get and matters if viewing TV in a bright viewing room or has lots of bright objects. Motion is better on 6 Series so you have a increases the frame rate to smooth out the video. Less important but the 6 Series has nicer look to it than 4 Series, like the border, back of the TV etc. Hope this helps.
