“Is this the same as the 635 model from other retailers such as Amazon that costs more?”

• The 55R635 model is a 2020 update ($649) of the 55R625 2019 model ($579). I purposely bought a 2019 model because one of the professional reviews I read on-line said the 2019's picture quality was actually very slightly better than the 2020.
