“This TCL will not download the Spectrum app. Is there something specific you have to do to get it to work on this specific TV? I bought it specifically to use the app.”

I had the same issue. I called Spectrum. They said to buy a ROKU stick and run the TV off the ROKU operating system. You can download Spectrum App from the ROKU store
